Greetings rodeo enthusiast! Recently, a group of active Jr. Rodeo parents decided that the community and youth of North Central Washington would benefit from a locally sanctioned Jr. Rodeo Association. The Caribou Trail Junior Rodeo Association was organized in an effort to promote high quality rodeo events for our rodeo youth competitors. We feel that our efforts to promote participation in existing jr. rodeos, and the support for local communities that would like to promote a Jr. Rodeo in their neighborhood, will provide a local outlet for the energized talent that exists in our western minded communities. High quality, spectator friendly, competitor rewarding, locally controlled Jr. Rodeo. We feel that our regional youth deserve our support, and quality recognition when they decide to compete in North Central Washington's oldest sporting event. Our youth competitors deserve an opportunity to compete for year end awards in a rodeo series without the enormous expense of traveling 200 miles to stay in contention for a event that they excel in. Our region has great rodeo facilities, well bred animals, and a sponsor base that is excited about helping promote local western youth events. But without a doubt, our greatest assets are the local youth that make up Jr. Rodeo contestants, and future contestants.. the talent that has been woven into the fabric of our western minded youth competitors is second to none, and merits our efforts as families, sponsors, and event organizers to provide an affordable outlet, and quality recognition for their display of North Central Washington's western heritage.
